Utility Mod – Public Poser 2

Public Poser 2

Since I’ve received some requests for this recently, and it didn’t take too much time or effort, I’ve expanded Public Poser. It can now take FIFTEEN modules worth of poses. That’s 1215 poses in total.

Remember, this is an EMPTY POSER. There are NO POSES in this mod by default. It has 15 EMPTY pose modules for people to put their own poses into.

A good accompaniment for this mod is Poser Hotkeys, since you won’t have 15 empty pose rings pairs and spells in your inventory that way.

And for those who were worried they might not be able to redownload the old version, these are hosted separately, since not everyone will have a need for 1215 empty pose slots.

The old 405 pose version is still available here: Download

For anyone who is still not happy with 15 empty pose mods, I suggest you look up fore’s tutorials on how to make your own pose mods. This mod will not be getting any further expansions.

    THX!! :D
Any way to rename the default folder?
    I have CK. :)

You can’t rename anything in this mod. If you want a custom folder, you need to make your own module for it. As I said in the post, if you want something custom, you need to look up fore’s documents on how to do it.

Hello again Halo, I had a question. I kinda use a lot of other animations from another mod…And my game wont let me add but so many other animations,
I just wanted to check to see if it was possible for me to pick and choose which animations I wanted added in the game in the folder, and just archive it and run it through Nexus mod manager.

That should work without breaking things, right? :\

You need to generate new behavior files if you want to select particular animations. Simply removing the files you don’t want won’t work, because the behavior file will still cause FNIS to flag it as though the animation exists. You’ll have to delete the references from the included .txt files in the animations folders and generate new behaviors with them removed, using FNIS for modders.

Damn…Seems a little harder than I thought it would be, glad I talked to you first about it. :( Thanks for that, at least I know what to do if I ever decided to work with it.

I have done this I just deleted the references from the text file, ran fnis for users and it only counts the animations that remain in the txt file

Is it possible that the new public poser is incomplete?
There is no scripts folder as in the previous version, and the animations added are not found by FNIS…
    Best regards,

It has no animations. It’s a blank poser. The behavior file is present. I did forget to include the scripts, but since they’re the same scripts as Halo’s Poser, the old Public Poser, and also various other people’s posers, and most would use poser hotkeys with this, I didn’t really think it was too important to add them later. They’re added now, if you want to redownload it (same link). There aren’t any animations that come with it though, which I said plenty of times in the post.

Thank you for the hint and for adding the scripts. I know that no animations are included. Thats the reason I love this tool, to add my OWN animations. ;-)

Hell Halofarm, is it ok to publish our own poses on nexus using this template or not? And make small tweaks such as the titles of the mseg groups etc? Or is this just for us to use on our own PC?

    • Halofarm January 17, 2017 3:01 pm  Reply

I’m afraid I have to say no, not because I don’t want you to, but because posting edited versions of the mod will mess with the normal version of the mod which a lot of people are using, so it would be a problem for you to do so.

Where do i install this mod at? i dont wanna misplace any files

    • Halofarm April 22, 2017 8:11 am  Reply

You just drag and drop the data folder inside into the main Skyrim folder, so it overwrites the data folder in there.

Is it possible to remove extra rings that you don’t want? I only need 2 of them for the mod I have installed.

    • Halofarm June 18, 2017 10:16 pm  Reply

Sure. Just sell them or put them in a player chest.

    • Halofarm January 23, 2018 4:29 pm  Reply

The information on how to use this is in the readme.

I cant get it to work right. I get the rings in my inventory but when I play the animation my character just stands there like a mannequin. I already ran fnis and that didn’t do anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Did the capital letters saying “THERE ARE NO POSES IN THIS MOD” not explain well enough?

how to install? tried many ways but cant go with nexus and wont pick up on fnis

    • Halofarm November 3, 2018 8:26 am  Reply

It should work exactly the same way as my other posers, but nothing will work for you unless you have poses to fill it with.

halo my man my buddy, i was using this mod along with poserhotkeys with no problems for a long time, but i dont know what i do that now wen i run de posergenerator module doesnt recongnize the public poser animations :/

    • Halofarm January 13, 2019 8:41 am  Reply

Well, public poser animations are all third party, so maybe you’ve accidentally uninstalled the actual poses even though you haven’t uninstalled the poser? Either that, or you’ve installed more poses and it was too many, and FNIS just chose to stop recognising public poser? Those are the only things I can think of.

is there an installation guide and a list of requirements?

    • Halofarm February 24, 2019 7:14 pm  Reply

No. The only thing is requires is FNIS, as all pose mods do. Obviously, as I say in the post, you need a mod that uses this mod too. This mod is a requirement, not a mod all by itself.
