Skyrim Pose Collection v1.1

Skyrim Pose Collection v1.1

And after all that bit by bit action, PUPEX3 is complete, and it has been added to the Skyrim Pose Collection.

Skyrim Pose Collection v1.1

I have to say, it’s been an interesting motivator, knowing that alphas and betas and whatevers have been out there floating around, for new modules. Admittedly, Dramatic Poser will likely be waiting months before it gets completed, but at the least, Pinup Poser EX3 has now been added to the main package and you can all rest assured, you won’t have to be updating your pose collection for a lit- No, you know what, I won’t say that, because knowing me, I’ll start work on PUPEX4, or Pinup Pairs, or continue work on DPoser, or PinupsMen, etc. etc. So many pose packs in the works or planned that I can’t say I’m done for a while.

At the least, those of you who accept nothing by full releases can be happy that I’m not just teasing you any more.

Skyrim Pose Collection v1.1

Without further ado, here’s the link for the Skyrim Pose Collection v1.1: LINK DELETED. See Pinup Poser S for the latest version.

It’s the same link as it always was, but now it’s hosting the latest version.

For those of you who may have missed the earlier posts and really really want those 7 poses from Dramatic Poser, I am now hosting the file separately, and you can grab that one from here:

Remember, DPoser is only 7 poses. All those other slots are empty. Also remember it requires the main package, and don’t forget to update your FNIS before use!.

Until next time folks, which is about 20 seconds from now!

Great Job Halo, I’m glad to find ur mod again after ur page disappear in Nexus. Just got a small question, I have installed Pinup Poser 2.0h before, so is it ok that I just overwrite 2.0h when installing this one, or 2.0h should be completely removed(clean save?) before the installing? And again, thanks for ur work!

    • Halofarm April 4, 2013 2:15 pm  Reply

Yes, you can just overwrite the previous version. There are no changes to the earlier modules, just new modules and behaviors.

  3. IkarosCORE April 6, 2013 6:57 am  Reply

Halo, would it be possible to rewrite the execution process of all your older pinup mods to the one used in EX3? Strangely, EX3’s animations all work without CTD when used in combination with PCEA!

    • Halofarm April 6, 2013 9:06 am  Reply

But nothing has changed. They’re literally identical. They use the same scripts as well. Nothing is different, except for the FNIS version and CK version they were compiled with, and actually, I recently altered all of the old ones to fix rings, so even the CK version is the same.

Whatever’s wrong, it’s not anything I’ve done, or whatever’s right, as the case may be.

      • IkarosCORE April 6, 2013 9:29 am  Reply

        Wow, that’s really weird!
I did some further experimenting, and EX2 works without using a Vanilla race as a bypass too!

I figured it could have worked in the same way as the bypass, but the instant I tried a pose from OtherIdle, the game CTD’d.

    Hey Halofarm,

I only got into Skyrim recently but a friend of mine told me about you, a modder who emphasiazes on making pose mods. I looked you up on the Nexus, and was disappointed to see that you weren’t there.

Luckily a Google search eventually led me here. I’ve tried some of the poses in your compillation and I must say they’re pretty fantastic in terms of quality.

Honestly though, as a guy who plays mostly male character, I find myself hoping that you would eventually create more male or action oriented poses. Anyway, sorry for the long post.

    Stay productive and thanks.

    • Halofarm April 6, 2013 2:22 pm  Reply

I mostly play females, so my poses tend to focus on things I can use. I do intend to finish the male posers, eventually.

      • John Hancock April 6, 2013 3:35 pm  Reply

That’s cool. It’s good enough to know that you’re working on males also. I gotta ask though, do you have any tutorials that you can point out in case anyone wants to learn how to make poses? And what tools do you use to make them?

        • John Hancock April 6, 2013 3:37 pm  Reply

By tools I mean, what 3d modelling software, Blender? max? Any converter sofwares or plugins required ? Like I said I’m new to Skyrim but I’m not a complete noob when it comes to 3d modeling software.

          • Halofarm April 6, 2013 11:17 pm

The posing tutorials for skyrim are basically the same as Fallout 3, the only difference is, after you’ve made your pose, you convert it to Skyrim using a tool called hkxcmd, which can be found on the nexus. I use blender to pose.

Used the poser pack and loved it, except that only the Action poses caused the character to go stiff. Sure, I ran the latest FNIS to config it properly, but are there any notes on load order?

  7. Halofarm April 13, 2013 2:44 pm  Reply

All of them, or some of them? The readmes say they’re not all there.

  8. FiftyFourSeven April 13, 2013 5:34 pm  Reply

Looks like I found my problem: there were missing poses for use with bows or crossbows. Guess I’ll have to download to get the rest. Thanks again. :)

    • Halofarm April 13, 2013 6:33 pm  Reply

No no. Those poses don’t exist. Please, if you’d read the readme, you’d see the Action Poser and also Pinups for Men have missing poses.

      I haven’t made them yet.

Okay, and turns out I’ll have to wait. :))

Sorry, been a bit drowsy since early morning and naturally I get an addled noggin.

I love these but I need to tweak some files first and I can’t figure out how to uninstall… any tips?

    • Halofarm May 7, 2013 12:41 pm  Reply

You simply need to turn off the .esp file. If you really want to remove the actual pose files, you can delete the relevant files inside /Skyrim/Data/meshes/actors/character/animations/

They’re all in subfolders with the same names as the modules. You should also delete the behavior fles in /Skyrim/Data/meshes/actors/character/behaviors/ Again, they’re named similarly to the in-game pose modules.

Man, you have such a beautiful character!
Searched your whole blog for what mods you used to achieve this look.
I know you used ECE and your custom body mesh. But what about the textures, hair and ……. are these cat-teeth?
Would really love to get cat teeth for my character: 3
    Please let us know!

Also, maybe you are interested in this mod:

    Love your work!

    • Halofarm May 10, 2013 12:23 am  Reply

Aside from using ECE as character base, almost all of my characters use customised textures and meshes, right down to the hair meshes. I’m afraid I can’t really hand out an arbitrary list of mods, because all of the mods that make up any of my characters exist only on my PC.

  11. Dani May 10, 2013 12:53 am  Reply

That is impressive, creating everything yourself…
I understand you want to keep your character as unique as possible.
But mind releasing at least the cat-teeth files?

    • Halofarm May 10, 2013 12:55 am  Reply

I’m afraid I can’t. They’re part of my .tri files, which are also contain all kinds of custom parts. If you used them, they’d likely break your character/characters. lol

    So many beautiful poses.

But I am suffering a lot of CTDs on save file loads for some reason, especially in exterior cells. The only other animation mods I’m using are the crawl on all fours sneak animation and TBBP walk animation.

I’ve tried to load things with fnis differently but it’s proving to be a headache. The only way to absolutely get a save file to load is to clean this mod out from the animations entirely.

    • Halofarm June 6, 2013 10:30 pm  Reply

Try using an older version of FNIS. A friend of mine had the same issue, and when they used a slightly older version of FNIS, they stopped having the problem.

Halofarm, right after installing your mod ( I’m pretty sure I installed correctly, I read the readme and I updated FNIS behavior and everything ) I started having game crashes. Everytime I clicked continue from the main menu, it would go to the game load screen as usual but then right before shooting me into the game it would crash to desktop with no warning. I have done much research over the past few weeks on the internet trying to solve the problem, uninstalling and deleting mods and save files I thought might be corrupted, I even completely uninstalled and reinstalled steam but the problem persist. Do you know why this is happening to my game and what I can do to fix it?

    • Halofarm July 9, 2013 11:30 am  Reply

I can tell you exactly what I tell everyone else who seems to have a similar issue. Depending on what version of the game you’re running, certain version of FNIS don’t play well. If you’re having problems with the version of FNIS you have installed, you can try using an older version of FNIS. This seems to alleviate the issue. A few people have the problem, so I can’t rule out that it might be related to my mod, however, I don’t know why it would be related to my mod, especially now that it’s all one .esp, there should be no conflicts. All of the people I’ve given the advice that I just gave you have failed to come back and actually tell me if it solved the problem. I only actually have a single report of it solving the issue, as they’re the only person who ever told me the results.

If trying an older version of FNIS doesn’t work for you, I simply recommend uninstalling my mod. There’s no sense in letting a pose mod ruin your experience.

  19. Grant July 10, 2013 7:10 am  Reply

Thank you for your advice. I’ll try tampering with FNIS and see what uninstalling FNIS and alike does to the game. Hopefully I can sort the problem out and find that it isn’t because of your mod because I had been looking for this mod for a little while and was glad to finally have it and be able to use it. I’ll be sure to let you know if I dig out the results or any success with this problem I have.

  20. Grant July 10, 2013 7:30 am  Reply

Also, just so I can make sure I didn’t do something wrong, because I tried uninstalling your mod before to see if it was the problem but I might have left traces of it somewhere, if you wouldn’t mind can you tell me how I would go about uninstalling every file your mod includes so I can figure out if it was conflicting with my version of FNIS or not?

    • Halofarm July 10, 2013 8:56 am  Reply

Oh, I think you misunderstand me. It’s not that my mod conflicts with certain versions of FNIS. It’s that certain versions of FNIS sometimes conflict with certain people’s games.

Anyway, uninstalling my mod is pretty simple. You just remove the .esp file, then delete the related behavior files in /Data/meshes/actors/character/behaviors
and delete the pose files from /Data/meshes/actors/character/animations

The pose modules are called Pinups1-5, PinupsEX1-3, PinupsMen and ActionPoser. Delete the behavior files and animation folders with those names.

  21. Grant July 10, 2013 11:41 am  Reply

Oh I see. I apologize, I’m still fairly new to PC gaming, modding and alike as I only recently got my alienware pc, so there’s still some experience I lack that could probably help me in these situations. But I have great news, I did uninstall the esp. file in the same day the problem surfaced, yet I forgot about the ones you just listed. I’ve just deleted those files, and now my game works just as it did before all the mishaps, no hiccups or anything. Thank you very much for helping me solve the problem, I had been vigorously searching for the solve to it on the internet for a little over a week now. Maybe it is my version of FNIS along with my game that made my game incompatible with your mod, ( again I’m not sure if I understand the relations between them correctly, so I apologize it I’m saying something wrong ) But I will continue to try figuring out what exactly made the problem occur now even though my problem is gone so if I do I can send the information your way, and then maybe I can make a fix so I’m able to safely use your mod because I’d still like to be able to use it in the future.
    Again I appreciate your help.

And what kind of poses SNSDPoser have?

    • Halofarm September 17, 2013 10:40 pm  Reply

Yes. Pinup Poser is a compiled .esp, so you don’t need the old ones any more.

SNSD Poser has poses based on Girls Generation music videos.

    Skyrim Pose Collection v1.1 question:

Anyone have issue with the new FNIS Behaviors 4.0 & FNIS Idle Spells 4.0. When I open the Generate FNIS for Users and run the update FNIS Behavior and then Consistence check, I would get a list of missing stuff. Anyone using the new FNIS v4.0 can confirm that?

    • Halofarm October 5, 2013 7:17 pm  Reply

That list also includes a number of things relating to FNIS itself and other animations mods. It’s simply a list of files that are named in the behaviors which don’t exist in the file tree. You’ll see them from Pinups for Men, Action Poser and if you use it, also SNSD poser. That’s because I haven’t made those animations yet. It’s normal.
