Skyrim Academy v0.77

Skyrim Academy v0.77

Another minor update. This time moving up to 77. After the last release, rather than work on the important stuff, I continued expanding the camera rooms and eventually deemed them large enough to start being a Photographer’s Studio.

I’ve renamed the cells, and there are now SIX of them in total. 4 of them contain coloured rooms with various simple furnishings. The other 2 are what you see here. Suave, swanky, model shoot type locations.

They are still accessible via the same door, since I’m using the Club Building like a hub at the moment, but I can assure you, they’re not actually in the school, so don’t go assuming the teachers take their students in… yeah, anyway, it’s a different place!

Skyrim Academy v0.77

For those of you wondering if I’m finally done pissing around with this location, I think I can honestly say yes this time. There’s not much more I can make, with it.

I should just add a note that, while my .bsas have always worked first time in the past, I haven’t tested this one, since I was in a rush to get the file uploaded. If you have troubles with the file, let me know, and I’ll upload a fixed one. IF it’s broken in the first place.

Enjoy the studio! Hopefully my next update for SA will have a little more in the way of what’s been planned.

Going to try it out soon, and wanted to thank you for the mod. It’s been wonderful, but I was curious if you are planning to add a simple navmesh to get followers to move around with the player in here? So far they have actually teleported with me when I used the spell to get to the academy, but don’t end up moving in the actual area. I have been using console commands to get them with me, so it’s not too big of an issue.

Navmeshing can be a pretty meticulous process. I will get to it eventually, but at the moment I am most worried about getting environments created.

Ah, Ok. Again it’s not really a problem, just was curious. Thanks again for the excellent mod!

Hello. I have been into modding games for about 15 years, and in my opinion this is the greatest mod I have ever seen. I have never posted any comment on a site good or bad, but I felt compelled to commend you on a simply amazing piece of art.

Usually I stick with lore friendly mods, but this was definitely worth making an exception for, the photo studio is great and I will certainly be checking out your other works. Thanks for your work and keep it coming.

It’s now featured on Dragonp0rn — quite a big hit across the pond:

Yes, dragonporn is kind enough to feature SA each time it gets an update.

I have this mod installed. I can teleport someone to the studio in dialogue but where is the studio? How do I get there?

    Thank you!

It’s a door in the back of the club building. The door takes you to reception, and then you choose one of the rooms.

Can this mod be used as modders recource?

    • Halofarm November 21, 2013 1:31 pm  Reply

It says so in the readme, but if you’re going to use it as a modders resource, get the most recent version. It’s linked in the sidebar.

Very late and dumb question here. Do I install this via NMM/Vortex or manually?

    • Halofarm August 2, 2019 6:34 am  Reply

Probably best to install manually. I don’t think my folder structure supports NMM.
