I don’t know whether to call this a small release or not. I mean, all of the changes in this version were completely unplanned, and just happened as a result of my day to day screwing around. That’s why you’re looking at a 0.01 version increase. Unplanned additions will always be numbered small.
So what pile of random crap have I added to make worth releasing?
Well, I’d like to list a few fixes, firstly, which I think are quite important.
I’ve fixed all the shadow casters. I’m sure you’ve all noticed by now that all my shadow casters caused that nasty ringing effect. That’s because I hadn’t been setting up the shadow bias values. ALL of them are now fixed, and your night time screenshooting will no longer be a mess of nasty shadows!
I’ve fixed the sliding doors. I know, to you guys it was a minor thing. In fact, most of you probably didn’t even notice. I found out the issue was related to the nif file itself. I won’t go into details, but the point is, the sliding doors now making sliding door sounds.
I’ve fixed a couple of minor texture derps here and there, mostly normal maps not saving their alpha channel on export, for whatever reason.
The biggest additions, however, are the camera rooms, pictures in the release image above. Some of you may have noticed my recent posts use images which were taken in a photo studio like environment. Those images were all taken in the camera rooms. They can be found at the back left exit from the club building. For those of you who don’t notice, there are 2 separate cells (so I could use more shadow casters). Well, you’ll work it out for yourselves, I’m sure. Obviously, they’re meant for character shots.
Here’s the download link, same as it always was, just updated: http://mod.dysintropi.me/mods/Skyrim/SkyrimAcademy.7z
And no, double updates are not anything related to April Fools. It’s all legit. I hate April Fools.
