Another new outfit. Technically, this one is also a mashup, but it might be better to say it’s a remodel. Either way, this one’s much more straightforward than Profane CLeric. It’s a 2 piece. It’s already enchanted, so it’s not enchantable. Like Profane Cleric, you can find it in a chest, teetering on the bridge in the Midden Dark.
And last, but certainly not least, MORE POSES. I know the Halo’s Poser update wasn’t quite as big as maybe you’d have liked, so here’s another poser.
Why is it separate? Because it’s specifically themed. It’s 162 poses based on the images of Matsunaga Kouyou. An artist I found quite a while back, and decided I liked the poses in their images so much, I wanted to base a poser on them. On top of it being thematic, it’s also separate because I’m sure some people will be getting tired of the cute and sexy poses. While I do add a lot of them to Halo’s Poser, they go hand in hand with more practical poses, as well as weapon poses, and it’s overall a mix of different poses. This poser is 162 of similarly styled, and even perhaps just plain similar (in some cases) poses. If you want more sexy poses, this is the poser for you, if you don’t, no harm, you just don’t have to install it.

Overall, the new pose count is somewhere around 530. So lots of new stuff to play with. Things of actual note here, new male poses, after all that time. New object poses are attached to actual bones, and not the root, so they should work better for more customised body scales now. I’ve also updated some (not all yet) of the older object poses in the same way. On top of that, we’ve got some poses for crossbows, and some poses for magic.
Lastly, this will likely be the last poser update for a bit, because I want to see how things go with regards to SSE and modding it before choosing how to proceed with the future of Halo’s Poser. Or maybe that’s a lie and I’ll just keep updating as usual. Who knows? We’ll see what happens. With any luck, FNIS and Poser Hotkeys will get updated for SSE and it won’t matter which game I make the poses for as to if they’ll work. No promises in any directions though, things will be uncertain I’m sure, so please refrain from making “release it for SSE!” demands.

So lots of new bits and bobs to see this time. Some new unique locations again. In the interest of informing those of you who hadn’t realised what “expanded the alpha attractor field” actually means, it means that I’ve added new things or locations to the second world line. I’m not gonna tell you where or what they are, and you won’t find them on any of the maps. You have to do a little exploration to root them out. Just a little motivation for folks to really explore. Never know what you might find! I also did various optimisations and fixes again this time, so hopefully things are continuing to get easier on people’s GPUs (except Ehlnofey’s Landing, because it’s HUGE now, but actually my FPS there didn’t even change) and look better at the same time, since I’ve been replacing some of the older crappier textures and utilising different methods to provide better visual quality with lower res textures.

I’ve been trying not to go full beggar again but the next few months are gonna be serious money troubles for me, so if there are any kind souls out there who feel like donating to help pay for the server these next couple of months, I’d be mighty grateful. It’s been a short time. Like a really short time. In fact, I checked the release history and this is the fastest AS update I’ve ever made. It’s not a small one either! What happened was that when I made the last AS release, I was kind of on a roll, so I just kept rolling figuring I’d have a little content already done for the next update, and I accidentally made a whole other update in record time. That’s a good thing though!

I will say, a fair amount of the changes in this version are under the hood things, like the tileset optimisations, but I am hoping that folks running on older rigs will find Knox’s exteriors a little less crushing now, since between the new collision meshes and the mesh geometry optimisations, there should be less than half the geometry rendering on your screens now. I hope it’s meaningful enough to make a difference to people with weaker graphics cards.
And yeah, I thought it was about time for a new area, so we have Ehlnofey’s Landing. Check the updated maps for locations of new things.

It’s been a long time. Like a really long time. I didn’t realise it’d been 8 months since my last AS update, so it’s a good job I had one good to go!
A lot has happened in the AS over the past few months. A lot of bits and bobs. A lot of “I’ll just make this one thing” locations. It took a while, but I suddenly realised I had enough content for probably TWO AS updates. I’d just been forgetting to release. Ultimately, my fanboy side took the reigns and you got an update fuelled by fanboy excitement.

That’s the shortlist. There’s more I haven’t mentioned. Quite a bit more, actually, but you’ll just have to find it for yourself.
Most importantly, I’ve added a set of maps in jpg format to the download, so for those of you who gave up on exploring Knox because you were getting lost, now you’ve got a map! The bad news is that older users who’ve been using Knox all along might have to use those maps too, because Knox’s layout has pretty radically changed with this release, since I wanted it to make geographical sense.
Second most importantly, you now have an apartment. It’s the new entrance point into Knox, and it’s linked up to the main hub (Red Robin Plaza) instead of half a mile down a wet alley. I know some people will appreciate not having to run half of Tamriel just to get to the rest of the city.
Regarding the bug you’ll sometimes get activating the Denwa Renji (Kakko Kari), I know about it. It’s not a problem I can fix. It’s a stupid thing with Skyrim’s engine that I have absolutely no workaround for. If you leave the room and come back, it’ll go away. It’s related to how the cell buffer works.
Lastly, due to how much I’ve changed in this release, you might get some oddities if you don’t clean install it. I’m not saying you have to, because it has worked fine for me without doing so, but if anything pops up, that’s the solution.

P.S. Cracked the 1gb download size this time as well. That’s a landmark. Maybe not a good one, but it’s a landmark.
I know I’m not nisetanaka, but his bikini armors are so damned good, it inspired me to take a crack at it myself. I hadn’t intended to release it publicly, but it ended up having about 3 times as many parts as I’d intended and I just kind of said “fuck it, I guess I’ll release it”.
You can see all the available options in the screenshots, and the readme tells you how to get it (or you can just use AddItemMenu like I know you all do). It was fun to make. Might make another.
And yes, I know I copied nisetanaka’s configuration. It was intentional. A respectful imitation of the best.
There are some alt cubemap options for people who don’t like the pure silver look, including vanilla style, if you prefer that vanilla dulled look.

Version 3? Yes. Version 3. I know I keep on releasing updates for these things and it’s awkward, but I keep noticing ways to improve them (the feet, that is). Like I noticed the messed up UV map on the seam, so I fixed that (mostly) and then I noticed the COMPLETE LACK OF ANKLES, so I fixed that too.
Also, I added 7BO support, so there’s that. Kicked the XPMSE versions because they were confusing people and honestly I’ve never seen anyone use the toe bones. All it did was make the weighting more awkward.
