MK Poser

MK Poser

And last, but certainly not least, MORE POSES. I know the Halo’s Poser update wasn’t quite as big as maybe you’d have liked, so here’s another poser.

Why is it separate? Because it’s specifically themed. It’s 162 poses based on the images of Matsunaga Kouyou. An artist I found quite a while back, and decided I liked the poses in their images so much, I wanted to base a poser on them. On top of it being thematic, it’s also separate because I’m sure some people will be getting tired of the cute and sexy poses. While I do add a lot of them to Halo’s Poser, they go hand in hand with more practical poses, as well as weapon poses, and it’s overall a mix of different poses. This poser is 162 of similarly styled, and even perhaps just plain similar (in some cases) poses. If you want more sexy poses, this is the poser for you, if you don’t, no harm, you just don’t have to install it.

This is the last of my Christmas presents, so Merry Christmas to you all, and I hope you have/are having/had a good day.

I’m getting an “Error(9)” with FNIS 6.3XXL when MK poser is in my loadout so I can’t use it unfortunately. I realize it’s probably an issue between FNIS and MO, just saying.
I can use Halo’s Poser 1.6 just fine though.

That error seems to be quite common with MO and FNIS. A lot of people say they solved it just by re-running FNIS, but apparently it can also mean you have too many anims. If you have XXL though, that seems unlikely.

Right. However, from a layman’s point of view it seems to me that whatever you did differently from Halo’s poser in MK Poser must be what is causing the issue – since Halo’s works fine with MO and FNIS while MK doesn’t.
I would love to be able to use MK but I’m not going to dump MO for the time being, it’s just too important to me.

Well, I have 2 responses for that. First is that error 9 means the index is out of bounds. I don’t know what that means, but I know that when I looked it up, the answers all pointed to local machine issues.

The second is that no one else has reported the issue. It works for me and everyone else I talk to, and I did nothing special here that I don’t always do in Halo’s poser. I can’t fix what isn’t broken.

If you have created folder for Fnis Generated files the first time, Delete it, Run fnis and create another Fnis Generated folder in MO. You can Deactivate That Folder in MO anytime you wish to re-generate Fnis Files, and replace it with newly generated files inn overwrite folder. BTW That error is because of Fnis log files and skeleton which Fnis generates – It should be deleted each time you re run.

Correct, index out of bounds is the error description and I don’t know what that means, either.
BTW, I was also unable to install GomaPero 1-6 merged for the same reason.
    Thank you for your consideration.

How about the more recent goma 1-8?

I only saw that today. Will try at the earliest possible convenience and report back.

        Same Error(9) with GP v8 :(

I think you might need to look into it on your end then. Goma’s poses work fine for me, as well as my various Skyrim playing friends. I don’t know whether it’s something with MO, or your main install, but obviously something’s off.

          • Hallodria March 24, 2017 3:38 am

Thanks, yes I’m sure it’s on my end. I never meant to imply your mods are buggy.
But I have used Poser S since v1.3 (and updated to 1.5 and 1.6) and never had a problem with it. Also I’m using a gigaton of SLAL packs and I run FNIS whenever I install a new one. So generally I think my setup is pretty sound.
Unfortunately Fore and the creator of MO hate each other and aren’t talking. MO is now unsupported anyway. And you’re not even allowed to ask Fore about FNIS/MO issues, so I really don’t know who to ask.

Hmm. Do you have any way of finding out just exactly how many animations you have installed. Is it at all possible that you just have more installed than even XXL can handle? Some of the (9) errors I’ve read about have been because of too many animations. It would make sense if mine and goma’s mods getting bigger was causing them not to work due to too many anims.

    From my last FNIS log:
9243 animations for 30 mods successfully included (character)
1549 animations for 9 mods and 37 creatures successfully included

(the max is 12,000 with FNIS XXL)

    • Hallodria March 24, 2017 6:29 pm  Reply

From today’s log after updating some SLAL packs:
9318 animations for 30 mods successfully included (character)
1688 animations for 9 mods and 37 creatures successfully included.

It should be noted that the Error(9) with “incompatible” mods in my load order occurs while FNIS is scanning the anim lists, well before it tries to create the new behaviour files.

      • Halofarm March 24, 2017 8:15 pm  Reply

Right, if you’re adding Halo’s Poser and Goma’s to that list, HP and Goma’s together add about 4k, maybe even 5k (I lost track) poses between them. So that 9318 would turn into 13-14k anims, and MK would be adding another 162 on top. If that number already includes Halo’s Poser… I’m really clueless as to what’s wrong.

        • Hallodria March 25, 2017 7:05 am  Reply

Yes, that number already includes Poser.

Turns out it wasn’t a MO issue at all, but “a simple bug in FNIS” (exact quote Fore).
In the FNIS support thread on Nexus is a fixed exe, liked to in a post by Fore on 27 February. He did not want to update his full mod with it “just because a few die hard adult animation users can’t get enough” (dunno if he means MK Poser users by that lol).
Anyway, with this new exe in place I was able to install MK Poser and run FNIS successfully. Now I can’t wait to use it :)
    Thanks very much indeed.

I am fairly sure he was referring to the many thousands of porn animations out there. I don’t think he realises how many simple pose mods there are these days.

I’m enjoying MK Poser a lot, now that I got it to work. Thank you for the lovely gift.

I have the big 2000 pose download working but when I try to run with the MK poser installed my PC immediately CTDs. It doesn’t even get to the logo screen.

Never had this problem mentioned before, and it’s been out for a year. That usually happens when you have too many mods installed, or a mod active without its dependency.
