Knox Poser 0.7

Knox Poser 0.7

Yes, something else for Christmas day, a bit like last year again. A new poser.

Knox poser is focussed entirely around object poses to be used in the Aether Suite, particularly in Knox. Right now, it’s only about 2/3 complete, but you can see by the category names what will be coming in the completion update.

As with Halo’s Poser, there’s a normal version and a Poser Hotkeys version. You only need one. If you don’t use Poser Hotkeys, install the normal version.

Here’s the download: Download

Where do I find those outfits? The black vest looks especially good on top of the shirt.

I don’t answer questions about outfits.

these are very good halo,i know modders hate recommendations/requests but a great idea i think you’d also like for a pose section would be wine glass poses.

Maybe one day. I do intend to eventually expand to a third module. That would add things like the beer and cocktail glasses I have, as well as other things like teapots and teacups. Who knows when that will be though.

@ Halo Well
you have your reasons. I just feel like you perhaps could have simply said your reasons why you don’t answer questions about the outfit. But that was just my opinion, I suppose it doesn’t really matter much since these are your mods.
Also I think you have talent and I still very much appreciate your work.

My reasons why I don’t answer questions about ANY outfits is because I used to be inundated with constant “where do you get that?” and “what is it?” questions about outfits, until I started refusing to answer any more, because I usually can’t share. Now I do not answer questions about outfits, and I really shouldn’t have to explain myself.

That’s fine, it’s just a little disheartening when someone shows off a mod item only to say “Nope, you’re not getting it”. It felt less of showcasing a posing mod and more of being jerky, since the vest outfit on your Tumblr images suited a hitman style character and the place incredibly well, and a plain white shirt is already included in the mod so I don’t understand why that would be special.
Now you’re not obligated to explain anything if you want, true, but depending on how it’s phrased it can come off very differently. I guess I’ll just give up on this outfit then. The mod itself is still great, so thanks for that.

The only jerky thing here is the people hassling me for more mods when I’m already releasing a rather large pile of work. That crappy attitude is exactly the reason so many modders have left Skyrim modding. “This is nice and all, but give me THAT” is not a very good way of saying thank you. Further proceeding to call the guy who gave it to you jerky for not being able to share the mod, which the character happened to already be wearing when I loaded the save, just really hammers my point home.

• Firehawksh January 9, 2018 7:40 pm

I didn’t call you jerky for not being able to share the outfit mod. If you had just say, it happened to be in your savegame but can’t share, i wouldn’t have said another word. How was I supposed to know what the deal or circumstance is behind it if I don’t ask? Am I supposed to be a psychic?
Also, calling my attitude crappy is just pushing the blame on me since no matter how you look at it, “I don’t answer questions about outfits.” is plain rude since it’s a clear refusal with the added undertone of not giving a damn about the commenter of the question, which is totally uncalled for given that I didn’t provoke or insult you ever before. You’ve practically scored an own goal there.
Yes, there are people like what you’ve described. But now you’re just generalizing indiscriminately, and since arrogance is not unheard of in the modding scene, I could around project it onto modders too. And that’s how a simple question that didn’t have the slightest malicious intonation got twisted into finger pointing at everybody who ever dared raise a question about something the modder didn’t feel like answering.
As Alejandro said, a simple sticky or somesuch on the front page where visitors can see that outfit question are outside of what you’re doing that would have been enough because I do read stickies, as incredible as it sounds.
Finally, I respect the amount of time you put into your mods. I really do. But that doesn’t mean you can or have to react like that to a question, especially if you consider how few comments you get on your blog entries. It’s not like you’re being bombarded with hundreds of them everyday.
This has gotten longwinded and I don’t want to make it even more so, so I’ll stop here and take my leave. have a nice day.

As it happens, I can respond however I want on my own blog. I deal with these types of questions constantly on and off of my blog. My original response to you was a plain, simple, short sentence, designed to be taken at face value. What you, or anyone else read into it is your own problem. The fact you came back days later just to harrass me over it speaks volumes as to exactly why I don’t want these kinds of questions. It wasn’t even slightly necessary.

• Firehawk January 10, 2018 10:34 am

As it happens, I didn’t make any noteworthy posts right after your initial response (december 25th!) and the next one came only after Alejandro’s on January 9th (!). Selective memory perhaps? Claiming harassment is a blatant lie.

“As it happens, I can respond however I want on my own blog.”
Sounds like the kind of justification one would use when they don’t or can’t come up with any reasonable response and instead resort sheer arrogance to avoid the need to make any meaningful comment. What you’ve said would be correct if I had deliberatley been abusing you right from the start for no reason. That is not the case. You’ve lost this argument.

“What you, or anyone else read into it is your own problem.”
“The fact you came back days later just to harrass me over it speaks volumes as to exactly why I don’t want these kinds of questions.”
Congratulations, you’ve managed to prove yourself a hypocrite withing two sentences by accusing me of harassment right after pushing the blame onto me by claiming it’s not your fault whatever I read from your first post. Props to you!

And the best part: I specifically went out of my way to state that I don’t wish to continue this conversation to prevent it from becoming more antagonistic, yet you decided to accuse me of harassment just to shift the blame on me and by extension to anyone daring to ask question that you didn’t feel like answering.

It also didn’t evade my attention how you blatantly ignored Alejandro and me pointing out that a sticky of sorts would have prevented this whole argument from starting and instead concentrated on acting like everyone is out to make you miserable and you’re the poor victim. That speaks volumes about YOU. Once again, you’re not in any position to criticize me.

So good job, you’re making good progress to make yourself look like a… less than agreeable person.

• Halofarm January 10, 2018 1:15 pm  Reply

I’ve made the sticky. I literally just forgot. I happen to be busy enough to not always remember to do these things. Either way, I’d appreciate if you could stop playing the victim card now and stop trying to get the last word with these essays. I’m not pretending to be a nice guy, so I couldn’t care less how any of these responses make me look, I’m afraid.

Ah, alright now I understand.
I didn’t know that.
I understand that portion totally.

Honestly you should consider simply creating like a stick post somewhere (perhaps in a disclaimer somewhere on your page) it would be there and you can simply just say, “please refer to ‘that sticky’
Giving it its own page you could put all your disclaimers such as
What to expect in aether (gore, sexual themes, awesome t-shirts, etc.)

If a user is new and just starting out modding,
Sometimes they simply dont know.

Anyway, I hope you had an awesome Christmas, did santa get a new 1090 laptop? ;)

There looks to be a lot of argument and controversy here. I just wanted to stop in and say that you’ve done so much great work, and I appreciate every bit of it!

Nah. That kind of stuff doesn’t happen often. Just happened to have occurred in recent posts.
