Feet (and Hands) Again

High Poly Hands and Feet 3.0

Version 3? Yes. Version 3. I know I keep on releasing updates for these things and it’s awkward, but I keep noticing ways to improve them (the feet, that is). Like I noticed the messed up UV map on the seam, so I fixed that (mostly) and then I noticed the COMPLETE LACK OF ANKLES, so I fixed that too.

Also, I added 7BO support, so there’s that. Kicked the XPMSE versions because they were confusing people and honestly I’ve never seen anyone use the toe bones. All it did was make the weighting more awkward.

    Nice.. now I wish I could jam those feet into all of the game’s (modded and all) footwear that shows toes, ankles etc.

    I play a redguard.. I feel like they’re the most sword and sandal type of warriors, on account of all of the sand from Highrock.

      LOL. Redguards are from Hammerfell (and before that the lost land of Yakuda). Bretons are from Highrock. Now endeth the loresnobbery.

    im using unpcm and halo hands/feet v3 and when i hold a bow there is bad clipping, i guess the hands over-grasp the bow and clench into like a fist inside the bow

      That’s got nothing to do with me. The hands don’t have special animations or bone rescales. They’re the same basic size as any other hand mod or vanilla hands. If they’re closing more than the bow, maybe it’s an issue with your weapon or hand scales, or maybe it’s a vanilla issue. I never looked close enough, but no one else has ever reported the issue in the years since the first release, so I would say either everyone has it and it’s just a skyrim thing, or only you have it and it’s a skeleton thing. I mean, I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure it’s just normal.

    Hello. You did a great job as always. Your work is well appreciated! I was wondering, can you update H-tools and the shoes that go with your other mods? (Like the FF 12 Fran armor) I use them when I need to swap the foot meshes out when converting or improving armor mods; and of course H-tools for screen archery.

      No. The changes are so small, and I really don’t have time to be able to make those kind of updates for something that’s not all that different. Particularly for H-tools. It’s basically impossible because the new version of the feet don’t have the XPMSE weighting, so I couldn’t pose them if I wanted to, I’m afraid.

    High there Halo. I have a problem. I can’t seem to get any racemenu overlays or slave tat overlays to work on the toenails.. Is it possible to have them with this mod installed?

      How old is your mod version? I combined the toenail and foot meshes in this release specifically so RM overlays would work normally. If they don’t, I have no idea. That issue should have been solved. Are you using UUNP feet? Those are a much older version and it might be caused by them having separate toenails.

          Hey Halo. I know this question has nothing to do with your foot mesh.. but I was wondering how would one go about combining the toe nail and foot meshes?

          While wearing the sandals from Bob’s armory.. Racemenu overlays won’t work on the toe nails specifically. Weird thing is, It looks like he’s using one of your foot meshes.

            I would recommend rather than trying to merge them manually (as task which would take lots of messing around in blender or 3DS) you simply replace the foot and toenail meshes in the nif with the newer 3.0 meshes (hopefully it won’t clip, they are a little differently shaped). There are plenty of tutorials on how to copy and paste between things in nifskope, I’m sure.

    I used Caliente’s Outfit Studio to make the switch. The clipping is just about the same (only while running).

    Now that I know, I’m gonna switch every fingerless glove and sandal mesh with your hands and feet models. Thanks Halo
