It’s been a short time. Like a really short time. In fact, I checked the release history and this is the fastest AS update I’ve ever made. It’s not a small one either! What happened was that when I made the last AS release, I was kind of on a roll, so I just kept rolling figuring I’d have a little content already done for the next update, and I accidentally made a whole other update in record time. That’s a good thing though!
So here’s the changelog:
I will say, a fair amount of the changes in this version are under the hood things, like the tileset optimisations, but I am hoping that folks running on older rigs will find Knox’s exteriors a little less crushing now, since between the new collision meshes and the mesh geometry optimisations, there should be less than half the geometry rendering on your screens now. I hope it’s meaningful enough to make a difference to people with weaker graphics cards.
And yeah, I thought it was about time for a new area, so we have Ehlnofey’s Landing. Check the updated maps for locations of new things.
Without further talking of shit, here’s the download: Download
I just downloaded the other one dammit ;). Love this mod, has a fantastic atmosphere without having a single NPC i also love modern stuff and wished there were more modern outfits for skyrim.
Hey thanks for the new update. Is it okay if I just overwrite the old one with this new update?
Yes. It should be fine.
Just letting you know that Blake is a damn good voiced npc even if he doesn’t well….move xD and i have a question! do you plan on having more interactive things? quests (at least i found 1 so far, unmarked obviasly) and of course more npc? just wanna know lol.
Nope. Those were one-offs. If I ever make more, they won’t be because I planned them.
Thank you for your reply :3
is the place properly navmeshed now? I really want my followers with me
It has been properly navmeshed for years. Though I will say I have problems getting my followers to go through some of the doors and I’ve never figured out why.
I had the same problem, I fixed by adding “Amazing follower tweaks” it gives you a menu thats summon your follower every time you draw your sword or you can manualy go to the menu and press summon follower.
A number of follower overhauls have these options now. I personally use EFF and that also has a summon followers spell.
Hello Halofarm.
With v3.3 I’m “losing” the rain occassionally, although the audio still has raindrops. Even reloading the last cellchange-autosave doesn’t help when that happens. I have to roll back a couple of hardsaves to get to a state where I can continue with the typical rainy weather. This happend in Green Emperor’s Ward and Warrens Exterior so far. Here is what the ENB weather window has to say:

What could be the cause of that? And how can I get the rain back when that happens without loading a prior save – like by console?
Weather is set to “none” in all of the exterior locations. Originally, the weather was stuck on Knox as it should be, but I couldn’t edit it due to a glitch caused by TES5Edit cleaning which deleted the region Knox exteriors were set to. I can’t actually fix this problem without other issues coming back which I don’t want coming back. but there are trigger boxes just inside the doors of a number of buildings to force it to stick around. It’s as easy as going inside any of the more important buildings and leaving again. Finnegan’s, the Library, Red Robin, any apartment complex. I think even The PI Office and the apartment in Redoran Ward have triggers, so it really should be as easy as walking indoors and coming back out.
Also, if you’re the type that spends very long periods of time in the exteriors, long enough that the weather will keep wearing off, I THINK (not positive, but I think) that setting timescale to something low like 1 or 0.1 will make the weather stick for hours before trying to switch to null.
Ah OK, so it’s a known phenomenon, I was afraid I had broken my favourite mod somehow
Though I believe I tried going back indoors and coming out again, unsuccessfully. But I’m not 100% sure.
The timescale trick is a good idea, thanks.
Ahhh, just seeing the image makes me cry tears of joy, it is a shame my PC officially exploded (Just as I predicted), it hasn’t literally exploded, but if I listen close enough I can hear it saying “Kill… Me… TAKE ME OUT OF MY MISERY!” so I guess that means my PC won’t be able to play Skyrim or anything else for that matter, the only thing I’m playing on it is TESO because I have to, otherwise I will get kicked out of my Guild and that is not nice, and even tough my PC attends to the minimun requirements and most of the recommended it still sometimes just snaps and everything brakes down, my PC will die soon unfortunately, I guess that is what happens when you try to transform an simple home PC into a full-fledged gaming PC, next year an new and improved PC shall be part of my family, and when it happens, I shall enjoy this mod even more than I did before.
