And to finish up today, another one of these. This time I put Eiries’ Abyssal Dremora textures into a race. Actually, 3 races. Again, it’s FEMALE ONLY, because his textures are female only. If you don’t like it… well, download his resources and make a male version yourself?

The 3 races have similar stats to High Elves, except their specialisation is in destruction. Their racial, abyssal, is basically flame cloak, and I forgot to put a cooldown timer on it, so enjoy burning everyone all the time. They also have permanently boosted magicka regen speed.

The red ones are known as “Dremora Ignis”, the green ones are known as “Dremora Silva”, and the purple ones are known as “Dremora Nox”. Those are all latin, because I just really didn’t want to name the races “red dremora”, “green dremora”, “purple dremora”. They mean fire, forest and night, respectively.

The 3 races have their own unique horns, but if you’re not into horns, I’ve also supplied a no horns esp. The vampires are tested and working (yes, I remembered this time). I’ve also supplied the same body options as I did with the Ohmes-Raht. i.e. various versions of UNPB and also UNPCM. Instructions on how to add the races to your CME/ECE are also in the readme.

          Well, if you give it time, I’m sure someone will make a follower out of the race. People usually do that sort of thing. Keep your eyes on the tesgeneral.com followers page.

    hey, i tried using this race but their skin color isn’t the same as in the screenshots. they’re all white.

      No, they’re pretty much how they’re supposed to look with vanilla colour sliders. I didn’t add extra colours to the race because pretty much everyone either uses RaceMenu or Enhanced Character Edit now, which allows completely custom colours for bodies. If you want to get your characters looking the right colour, use the colour sliders, since you’re evidently using RaceMenu. Also, it helps if you don’t shine a bright white light in their faces. That’s a surefire way to make them look white.

          Just mess with it. That’s all I did. There isn’t really any “right” colour. Mix it up until it looks good to you.

      Look on the Eiries and HoneyVanity page. The texture psds are there, with various layers. I think that includes the msns.

    Hello Halofarm, I had a question. I read the readme for this, but still don’t really understand. Can I use nexus mod manager to install this? And will it work with racemenu?

      You can’t use mod manager. It should work fine with racemenu though.

        I’m also getting a message that’s saying “Vampire script conflict” or something like that. Should I be worried, what does that mean?

          This mod doesn’t contain any vampire related scripts, so I have no idea.

            It’s probably nothing too serious. For some reason, before I asked if I would be able to use Nexus mod manager to install it, (since I thought at the time it was what you were suppose to do) I had simply archived the certain files, and managed to get it to work through my mod manager.

            But if it’s not suppose to work like that, I guess there wouldn’t be a way to place the files in the folder to allow tbbp physics, would there? That’s what I use.

          Sure! You can just overwrite the body and skeleton nifs in the race folder with whatever body and skeleton nifs you usually use. Just remember you need skeleton_female.

    I’m really liking the look of this mod, but I was wondering if it would be reasonable to assume that I could convert the UNP body to CBBE by replacing the female hands and body meshes? Or would that end up making the texture files sit weird on them? I’ve been downloading mods for a while, but I’m pretty new to altering them in such a way, and it’s really just been a lot of trial and error so input is always greatly appreciated.

      You can’t use CBBE with a UNP mod. The texture mapping on the meshes is different. Unfortunately, there’s no CBBE version of this texture, so I’m afraid you’re stuck with UNP.

        Thanks for the response. I’d figured it would be something like this but I just had to be sure. Ehh, I used the optional files to make it UNPB and so I may have to download a couple armor mods especially for these races. Though now that I think about it I have the Temptress race as well and I think that uses the same body… Anywho, thanks again!

    Hey buddy, don’t mean to be a pain and im sure youre done with this one but, the butt has no physics. I followed instructions, however only bounce comes from breasts. not sure if this was intentional but thought id mention it just in case.

      This mod is not HDT enabled. If you want it to be HDT enabled, you need to install an HDT body and HDT skeleton to the race folder.

    Hey, MO user here, I recently downloaded this mod because it seemed pretty cool but I’ve encountered an issue.

    I tried making new characters (Racemenu user) and I noticed that sometimes I was unable to change the hairstyles of some of the races after some switching (not having left racemenu or even having made alterations) and that the Silva horns did not show up no matter what I did (no no-horns.esm installed).

    Also I must ask if each race is supposed to have their respective eyes selected by default when the race itself is selected? Because they would only show up as such (could still change them later) after some switching back and forth but that’s also when the hair also becomes unchangeable.

      I’ve never encountered an issue like this myself, nor have I heard of anyone else encountering it, so I’m not really sure how you might go about fixing it. It could be a bug with the custom races mod if you’re switching between races, I suppose.

      As for the eyes, yes, the race preset has the custom eyes relevant to that race selected. That’s intentional.

        A bit of a noobish question here, if you wouldn’t mind. Do you happen to know if, for MO, any custom race should override RaceCompatibility? As in placed lower than it, in the left side.

          I don’t use MO, but I would say this race might be packaged with an old version of RaceCompatibility, since it’s a very old mod. That might be the root of your issue. If you already had a version of RaceCompatibility installed, don’t let this one overwrite it.
